Everything in your life flows from how you see yourself. If you treat yourself like someone that is worthy of love, respect and compassion then that is what you will receive and your life will be easier, more abundant and joyful.

Treat yourself like someone worthy of contempt, disdain and indifference, however, and each day will be a struggle to keep negative thoughts from overwhelming you until finally they do.

Most people never put as much energy into their relationship with themselves as they do with others. They look at their life as their worst critic might, inhibiting their potential and keeping their hearts and minds closed.

The easy path is to distract yourself with drugs, alcohol, stress, external validation and materialism. But doing this makes you less than a complete human. You need to always keep in mind how amazing and wonderful you truly are and reinforce the positives in your life. Find the courage to live positively and learn how to love yourself while you are still capable.
