Things To Do In Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh (previously known as Saigon) is the largest city in Vietnam. Following are some things to do in Ho Chi Minh:
• Visit the Giac Lam Pagoda – this is the oldest temple in the city and dates back to 1744. It is set in a garden and the name of the temple means ‘Feel the Woods Temple’.
• Take a River Cruise – the city is breathtaking from the water and a cruise on the Saigon river will hark back to the days of elegant boating and dining. You can even find cruises that use traditional dragon boats if you want the full experience.
• The Central Office – the main post office in the city was designed by Gustav Eiffel (who designed the tower in Paris) and is a lovely example of the Gothic with fascinating maps from the colonial period inside.
