A beach house needs to emphasize its connection with the ocean and nature. Through the use of natural light, a clean aesthetic and soft color tones beach house design should evoke the relaxed breeziness of the beach. A coastal space should take its cues from the natural environment from colors to materials and it should feel like summer year-round.
A view of the ocean and abundant light are a must: it should never feel dark inside or cramped, it should emphasize light and openness.
