Camping – Not Just For Men
If you are a woman, you may have grown up believing that camping was something that was an adventure for males. That is not true. Many women are experiencing the joys of female camping. What are some things that you should keep in mind if you want to bond with nature on a camping trip?
Whether male or female, your safety should be your biggest concern. Camping with a friend and having a means of communicating with civilization is essential. Also, make sure friends and family know where you plan to camp and how long you will be enjoying the great outdoors before they can expect your return.
Something else that we should consider is comfort. Camping gear and be heavy and bulky, but it doesn’t have to be. Look for outfitters who cater to females and can set you up with gear that is appropriate for both your size and your abilities. Then, get out there and enjoy yourself!
